Tackling Homophobic Biphobic and Transphobic Bullying Film Competition
Homophobic, Biphobic and Transphobic (HBT) Bullying are forms of bullying that have a huge impact on people and occur all too frequently in society and even schools.
In 2014, almost nine in ten secondary school (86 %) and almost half (45%) of primary school teachers surveyed for Stonewall's YouGov poll said pupils in their school, regardless of sexual orientation, have experienced homophobic bullying.
Show Racism the Red Card is running a competition for young people to produce their own films that tackle HBT Bullying.
If you're in Year 6, Secondary School or College we would love to see your original work on the issue of HBT Bullying and you could win some great prizes for taking part.
Your film could show the effects of HBT Bullying, why it is a problem or what we can all do to stop it; it's up to you.
Send your film with your name, age and school address via WeTransfer, Dropbox or similar large e-mail sender service to firstname.lastname@example.org by February 12th 2016.
Winners will be invited to receive their prizes at a special awards ceremony.
* Your film should be up to 10 minutes long
* Entries by February 12th 2016
* An independent panel of judges will select the winners.
