John Barnes Biography

John Barnes had a successful career spanning an amazing 19 years, playing for teams such as Watford and Newcastle United. His greatest stint was at Liverpool, where he played for 10 years and become a fans favourite, scoring 84 goals in 314 games for the club. He won the League Championship (now known as the Premier League) and the FA Cup twice with Liverpool, and won the Charity Shield three times.

After his playing career, he moved into management, and won the Caribbean Cup with Jamaica. Barnes currently works as a football pundit.
